Arson caused garbage fires

Belleville police and fire say arson was the cause of three garbage fires set early yesterday morning. The fires were started in dumpsters by Front and Victoria Streets. There were two more garbage fires the previous night that were initially believed to be started by discarded cigarette butts. Police are asking anyone with information to call CRIMESTOPPERS.
